About the TeamWVU’s IDEA Hub coordinates existing University programs in entrepreneurship, innovation and design to expand and elevate activities in these key areas. Assistant Vice President for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
As Assistant Vice President for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Mindy Walls' responsibilities are focused on coordinating and integrating the academic components of strategic campus-wide entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives, including developing curriculum in these critical disciplines for the WVU-Beckley campus.
Associate VP, WVU Office of Transformation
Matt Harbaugh (JD, MBA) serves as the Executive Director of the West Virginia University Innovation Corporation, an applied research corporation that partners with government and industry to develop, test, evaluate and commercialize new technologies. Matt also leads WVU's Office of Transformation, developing innovative strategies and partnerships to advance the university's overall mission, improve operations, generate revenue and enhance the value of university assets.
Senior Associate Vice President of Academic and Public Strategy
Rochelle "Rocky" S. Goodwin, former director of state operations for Sen. Jay Rockefeller, joined WVU as Senior Associate Vice President for Academic and Public Strategy in 2015. Today, she leads the Center for Big Ideas and coordinates WVU’s outreach efforts on key projects including flood response and economic development.
